I'm going to be there next weekend. I hope I get to meet you this time. I'm going with a friend and my kids. Hubby has to work. I'm gonna check out some houses and stuff. Also I really want the kids to get to visit the church.

Darcie, I did not know you and DA are siblings, and I do apologize if my posts made light of your situation.

What I will not apologize for is commenting on what DAN said but based on his history, his reputation, and his manner of posting in times past. No way.

If you disagree with me, take a few days to read what he has written, and the way he responds to those who disagree with him.

I am not going to analyze whether I am being too rough on someone who has roughness as his modus operandi.

Carp, I appreciate your apology, thank you. Now if you go back and read what my brother said to me originally in this thread, our dad's passing is mentioned. Next time you want to have it out with my brother, go ahead, just not at the expense of people's emotions.

Actually, Carp, I wasn't sure! You ought to know by now that I have no qualms about UPC and I love many of them dearly. If JC and Darcie went to work for a UPC church and felt like it was the will of God, I'd be thrilled. But we all feel like this is the will of God, and Daniel was there from the very beginning of this relationship. He saw how we all meshed and felt it was a God-thing. I really think, in this situation, you were off.

But I love ya anyway!! You're not usually off!
