Today, **** I usually babysit my 2 yr. old on Tuesday,but son in law did not have to work today, so baby is not coming to play with me.

I apprecate everyones prayers for me. I still am having some problems but I am much better and after 4 days of not exercising, I have determined that I will do something today even if it is only 15 or 20 minutes.

I started the study on my SS lesson it is taken from Genesis, 22nd chapter, and my personal reading is in Daniel 8th chapter.

It is time for me to start moving things around and getting decorations out and up. This is a very nostalgic time for me. I always made a big deal about decorating with my children when they were small. We would make cookies and then eat them while we decorated.

I need to start planning what I am going to serve on the 23rd. It is our anniversary and we will renew our vows and have a small reception afterward.
I am not panning a big deal type thing just some finger food and cake and coffee and soda.

Ok I've prattled enough.

Good morning and welcome to Gabby's...yes we love to go on and on about ourselves here... it is interesting to me and many others to read about what is going on in each of our lives....we can go on and on here about most anything and just vent if we need to .....its a safe harbor....as long as we are fair and have love in our hearts!

What a wonderful tradition you have started...now you can pass it on to your grandbaby...how wonderful. I have not put anything up yet and can't seem to get inspired so I probably won't...

Good tuesday AM to you all....

Nothing exciting here except the weather...RAIN, WIND, more RAIN, more WIND...typical oregon winter!

Hubby was able to work a few hours yesterday and a few again today! "T"...(one of the guys in the shop) called my hubby last night and told him, he was called by the new boss and told there was no longer a job for him there....my hubby feels bad for him and his wife, but "T" has another job he has been looking at so hopefully it will all work out for him...things are bad here for work right now so please keep prayin for us and work...I am not afraid, I have complete hope and faith, my hubby is almost 60 and that is not a good time in life to be job searching!

Good morning everyone. I am lazy today. I went back to bed this morning when hubby left for work because I had gotten up with a terrible headache. I decided rather than to suffer with it all morning I'd just go sleep it off. I feel better now... or at least somewhat better. My head is just sore from having the headache. It will get better though-- always does.

I'm going to be closing out some ebay transactions today-- and I need to get Christmas cards addressed to all the families in our church. Thank goodness I don't have to mail them all, we just all pass them out at church services.

I had thought about posting a thread on AFF about a Christmas card exchange to see if anyone wanted to sign up-- and never got around to it. Maybe I'll be more organized next year and set up one. We also do Christmas ornament exchanges every year on a couple of forums. That is always fun too.

I've done it on other forums for several years, and it's always nice to see where all the cards come from. A few years ago we got one from almost every state.

I also have to get the menu planned for the young at heart Christmas luncheon. It is Dec 11.

Lots of things going on this month. I am just praying that God gives me the energy to keep up. LOL

Lol, you are too funny! We know a lady who would come twice a week for a total of $25.00 a week but I don't think she needs to come that often so we are negotiating price. Our house is small and we don't want any extras, just the main things cleaned (vacuum, dust, clean bathroom & kitchen floor & counters) So, we'll see.

Havent been around a lot.. a few things I dont understand right now about Gabbys in general and the whole forum... Like why we are told this is an apostolic forum and that we arent to tear down the apostolic faith yet this seems to be being done a lot by certain posters and allowed.. Twice a week for $25 is CHEAP!!!!!

I use to pay $50 a week for one cleaning.

Tina, I will say a prayer for you. Yesterday I was in bed all day. Saturday I felt a Bladder Infection (UTI) coming on and I thought I could hold off till Monday and I figured if it were still hanging around I would get into my doctor's office but by Sunday evening I was way too miserable! So, right before church I ended up going to the ER and getting some antibiotics. The pain was so intense that the pain killers were not even working so I was up most of Sunday night and tried to sleep all day Monday but the medicine was making me so queasy it was hard. Finally about 5:00 last night I started feeling better and got showered and got the kids bathed and me and Jasmine went off to Walmart - I was then up laaatttee working on our plumbing becuase our kitchen sink and dishwasher has been clogging and still won't drain. So, I am exhausted today!

So, who all is in the Christmas mood???? We put our tree up this past weekend. I wanted to take pictures but it was enough for me to just get it up and decorated let alone take pictures, I was feeling so bad. And then last night after Jasmine went to bed I wrapped some of her presents, so this morning she was pretty excited to see presents under the tree. Wednesday night we have our first official Christmas exchange - my MIL always has one for her daycare kids and it is this week. Jasmine is biting at the bit wanting it to be Christmas, she asks everyday if it is time yet. I think we might make one of them chain things where you remove a link every day so she can see when it will be Christmas.
