House church or excuse?
The church in Maui started out in dad Malory's garage. Then after several years it was converted into a full-size church pretty nice. The house church exploded with growth and has expanded so much. Why wouldn't want to make an excuse when there are so many people to reach on the island. Let's build the biggest the best the greatest sanctuary that money can buy so that more people can be safe .

Re: House church or excuse?
To stay at house church is for one or two excuses. One you don't have a ministry that is anointed to attract people enough to build a church. Number two if you don't believe in giving to the church Or paying tithing then you can't afford to build a church. That is the reason you would stay in the house church. This is ridiculous, quit making excuses

Friend, this is rather myoptic, and even hurtful, both to those who are a part of a house church, and to the testimony of the Holy Scriptures.
The 1st century church was a house church, with occasional open air temple meetings, until they were kicked out. Are we then to say men like James, John, Peter, Paul, Barnabas, Silas, Timothy, Agabus, Apollos, Aquila and Priscilla, Phillip, and Steven (to name but a few) weren't anointed enough to
1.) attract people...to build a church
or
2.) [didn't] believe in giving...
The house church in the 1st century had thousands of members, at least 12 fully functioning Apostles/Bishops, prophets and deacons. They had all things in common, and people went and sold all they had, including property and lands, and placed the money received at the apostle's feet. Gentiles received the Holy Spirit in a house meeting. Simon Peter was miraculously released from prison by an angel after an all night house prayer meeting. And I could go on.
In light of these facts, it is perhaps important that you not only rethink your original position, but retract it.

Very good Votive! Indeed, house church seems to most closely model the NT church.

Brawwther,
You sound like a cowboy? With the gentle attitude. You probably wear wranglers huh? I am so glad for your home church! I will pray that you guys find the right place to buy and grow. There's nothing wrong with a home church that is growing as long as they are apostolic in teaching and Pentecostal in practice.

If I were to wear a pair of Wranglers, I'm sure you would not consider me apostolic....
