Hey all! Hope you have a wonderful day! I gotta run now going to take my dad shopping for his Christmas gifts for everyone. This is his first yr doing them on his own and he is lost. He doesnt have a clue what to get the kids so we are wingin this one big time!

Thing is I dont know what to get them either and I am their mom/aunt!!!!!!!!!! So prayyyyyyyyy that 1 dad doesnt drive me bonkers as he hates to shop 2 that we find something cool for these kids... I know the boy is getting a new bass guitar but the rest are all up in da airrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Have fun and bye furrrrrrrrr now......... see thats my brrrrrrrrrrrr way of sayin for... it is stinkin cold here!!! posed to get snow possibly and its like 40 out and oh oh oh pray for my son.. he has asthma so he gets sick easy well... his new school has a field trip today all day one and its to a place called heritage village which is one of those old country town things... all outdoors.. he insisted on going so just pray he dont get no crud stuff from being outside!

Well, we have a showing and a Recital to go to this evening, but I am able to get off work early now and we are gonna run to the showing and then I am going to skip the recital and go shopping - I might have to just make it a late night, I told my husband he is going to have to keep the girls and let me go and get this done! Lol! I would rather stay out late tonight and stay inside tomorrow.

OK my big news for today!!!

MY dog went out last night just before bed as is the routine, our back yard is partially fenced so she can move about and we don't have to worry about her running off and I don't have to go out there too with her on a leash which I did for a long time!!!!!!!!!!!


She sometimes tears out the door like she is chasing I don't know what...well last night it was a skunk...yeah thats right and so now she "S T I N K S' all night she stunk...all day she is gonna stink! Funny thing is after awhile you can't smell it........oh my word that is so gross really to know your used to that smell. Anyway I called the vet hoping I could take her in there and get her treated...no such luck...I have to do it myself...now this is a 75lb black lab that is strong as an ox and stubborn as a mule....she does love water but not to just sit still and let ya bathe her....

recipe for skunk juice removal

I quart hydrogen peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 tsp liquid soap

it will foam up I guess like a volcano you pour it on, scrub and rinse! So I am off to run errands and need to pick up the stuff to mix up....when hubby gets home I will have him help me...we have a huge shower and we can take her in there and do the job!

The worst of it is she will probably do it again cause she is a dog and she does not realize how it effects us....and further more does not care! This skunk was on the outside of the fence, but felt threatened enough to spray...and I read this AM on the internet they can spray up to 20 feet, and have total control over where they spray.....

The good news is you will be prepared to be snowed in if it happens and you will have your shopping done....and tomorrow you can have fun at home!
