The canopy is too wide I think. Too many false doctrines in that tree.

I am heavily involved in the AWCF and I am flying to their HQ in Evansville in a few weeks to work on some marketing projects for this upcoming year. What questions do you have? I've been around them since I was at IBC and was introduced to them by Luke Smith (Bishop Smiths son and my friend).

Perhaps they actually believe in Unity of the Brethren until we come into a Unity of the Faith.

Bishop Smith is a great man.

It has been a honor to get acquainted with him recently, and to post an article on the AWCF site.

erikwebster please give him my highest regards when you see him!!! As well as Sonny Cathey if he is around. :-)

Bro. Griffin,

We know some of the same men... I met Bishop Smith in N.C at a SE District Conference of the AWCF back in 2000 or 2001. the meeting was at Bishop Williams church.

I know Bro. Cathey from his days with the group headquartered out of Center, TX. I think it was the ABI... I am not sure... they had the camps in Center until moving the camps to Waco a few years ago.

I have no doubt we have MANY acquaintances in common and OUR paths have probably crossed some time back in the day. (Before baritones were banned from Apostolic churches)

What an awesome article! It reproduces on paper what my heart is telling me...

We need to get rid of this "3-stepper/1-stepper" stuff...it's not edifying any of us...just my 2 cents...

I am sure you are right...

the more you talk the more my drug damaged brain thinks... James Griffin, James Griffin.. Now Phil, didn't you go to TBC with James Griffin and my brain says back to me ... you know, Phil, I think you did... but ultimately I know you went to JCM so I know that is not possible but then... with a brain as burnt as mine is from time to time anything seems possible.

Besides, the Griffin I went to TBC with was a skinny little fella!!
