Austin is one of the best places on earth. It is clean, pretty (at least where the rich people live on the West side in the "Hill Country"), has great restaurants, educational institutions, live music, arts, recreation, and a booming economy.

Shreveport is....well......Shreveport. If you have ever been there enough said.

At least the Suber's are going to some place with a big enough population that there is a lot of potential to grow a church.
My sentiments exactly.

yeah...Austin is the nice, pretty, new shoe. Shreveport is the well-worn, smelly shoe!

Austin is beautiful country ...

One big challenge Pastor Suber will need to address....

is that the church he is going to is predominantly white ... if not all ...

I understand close to half of Shreveport's population is African-American.

If they are to grow ... than an effort to reach the whole community will need to be launched.

Is he gonna "tune up" for the white boys ???

It would certainly have to smell better than Bogalusa.

Yes, thank heavens....you wouldn't want to try to get anybody saved outside of the metro area. Why waste Jesus outside the city limits?

As I said before in another Suber thread...when they feel it's time the whole world will know what is going on because they will post it on the Suber Ministry Group Website...

I love the Subers!!!! Yea! GO! Be in God's will!!

And BTW, keep watching the site because there will be more positive announcements coming....

I have seen so many lies posted. The best one is the one Triumphant 1 did his best to combat. You know, the hair cutting party thing?

Prominent members of this board chose to believe the lie and even continue to spread it, even though T1 had totally proved it was false.
