It looked like a full house too!

I am sorry to see that you only just recently lost your Dad.

You have a rich heritage.

One question-Can you Shockamoo like your dad?

Thanks for sharing that Video.
Sure .... I can shockamoo!!! ... sometimes even at home ... when I think of the goodness of Jesus.

It was a nice video Daniel.

Did the flags have different sayings on them? The place looked like there was 300-350 there. How long ago was this? Was this the normal crowd for your Dad's church?

We purchased 350 seats.... The church fit about 350-400 ... ..... if and when we used the mezzanine ...

we had over 280 members on our rolls when he passed ... on an average Sunday night we would run about 200-250 ... The church was once a Jewish synagogue.

3 months before he died ... he was able to purchase the building next door .... this will give us ... some much needed space ... space is limited in a city like New York

These clips are about 2-4 years old...

On Pentecost Sunday .. our 5 daughter churches would come and celebrate with us .... we would celebrate using flags ... on this day and other special days.

Some of the flags had praises on them ....

The building next door must have been a special blessing. We rented our building for a while to a Spanish Group when I lived in New England. They would show up for church at 10 below and try to heat a cold building in 30 mins. It drove me bananas how we never could get them to let us know when they were coming or not.

My wife is from here, Houston ... she wanted to be near her family ... after spending over 11 years in NYC ... after he passed ... it seemed like a time for transition. Mom moved to North Carolina ... as did my sister and her husband to start a work in Wilmington.

I thought that was probably the reason why.

Do you like the south?

Purchasing the building next door was a crowning moment for Dad ...he wanted nothing more than to see the church grow and expand ....

The church had saved for years ... for more property .... He barely could walk to the closing but he did it joyfully.

I'm getting use to it ... it's worlds apart from NYC.
