well, we didnt know where GDub was on immagration until the last year or so, so that doesnt count.

we do know where GDub is on taxes and it is good.
we also know where he is on the supreme court....

G.SR, got a one time pass and got waxed because he wasnt what we are and Dole got what guys like this get so.............

Republicans loose when they run as democrats.

Look, if John wins the nomination, I will put on a happy face and talk him up and vote for him because he really isnt a communist. But that doesnt mean I will like it.

Actually, not quite.

Bush Sr lost primarily because of Ross Perot, the third party candidate who got 18% of the vote, and siphoned off enough votes from the Bush to give the election to Clinton.

Nader pretty much did the same thing. He got less than 3% of the vote, but he took a lot of votes from Gore, including 97,000 in Florida which made all the difference. Bush wouldnt have won in 2000 if it wasn't for Nader.

at the end of the day, GSR did not get re-elected.

by the way, Ron Paul just said that Ronald Reagan wanted to return to the gold standard.

W was great on taxes. He was HORRIBLE on spending. He never ONE TIME vetoed a spending bill that came across his desk when the GOP ran the Congress. I admore Mac'sa willingness to oppose his own party whenever he feels like they are wrong. I don't always agree with him, but he was right to oppose the GOP when it came to over spending, he was right to oppose the GOP when it came to all of the corruption and lobbyist money, he was right to oppose the GOP when it came to the Iraq strategy.

I don't want a party line guy, I want someone who will stand for what he feels is right!

He's simply boring. Romney's biggest problem is that he's a beige businessman, a slick-haired corporate higher-up widely perceived as a flip-flopper. Romney joked on Jay Leno that "at the end of the day, just to really relax, I take off a dark suit and put on a light one." It's a funny line, but it carries a grain of truth: Romney seems like a bureaucrat rather than a regular Joe. - Ben Shapiro

I think Ben is right. lol

Hes not "Killary"!

He's not "O Bomb Us"!

Anyone wil be to the right of these two!

With the sentiments of the nation against the GOP, I am afraid that Mac is probably the only guy who can defeat them in a national election.
