Benincasa has one thing in common with Mark Bassett.

Both have (had) high opinions of themselves as posters, wits and masters of repartee and both have (had) a very small cult-following shrilly attempting to prove the point despite most others being able to see as plain as the nose on their faces that it just wasn't so.

As posters, if you could buy Benincasa and Bassett for what they're worth and sell them for what they think they're worth ... you'd be richer than Bill Gates.
