Yes.

It was a lesson taught over decades of platform-based counsel concerning how the pulpit can NOT be fellowshipping the pew.

How can I minister to you all if we go out and drink diet cokes while sucking down baby-back ribs?

After all, preeminent seats mandate leadership to bravely implement controls concerning who sits in the big, puffy upholstered ones up front!

Re: FCF, NFCF, AFF-How Many Friends/Contacts?

I've only met a few people from here...

I met Coonskinner & Lady CS. They are great people. I look forward to them coming back to this area so that I can hear him preach (and her sing) again.

Tamor is another wonderful friend that I've met through the forums. It seems like I've known her all my life. I knew her husband years ago also, but had lost contact.

I've also met Toof and his family, they are also great people... and hope that they can make it up for our youth camp services one night... (Hope he's reading)

I've been blessed by getting to meet Sis Alvear, her husband and their grandson. What a ministry this family has..... I hope that sometime when they come back to the states that they can come to our church.

I also know David C, one of our more quiet posters that doesn't come around often... Another friend that I'd lost contact with over the years.

There are many that I'd like to have the chance to meet in person.

A few I have met are, CareyM & Malachi, STS, & The Mrs & her husband.
All are great people I would love to see again.

There are a few who I have talked to over the phone.

How about you?
There are a couple of people who are afraid to speak to me now. Does that count?

Re: FCF, NFCF, AFF-How Many Friends/Contacts?

I haven't met anyone from these boards personally ,I however talk to some on the phone and keep in touch with some board members fairly regularly.
I did meet a ex-husband of a member ,however he was married to the sister when I met him in a church service.
