Re: Urgent prayer please.... Baby involved

Gripe water is used for colic. It really works, I think. I've had two and the last one had colic horribly bad. I about lost my mind. It has ginger and fennel in it. It's really safe and like I said, it really worked for us.

Re: Urgent prayer please.... Baby involved

CVS, Walgreens, but you will probably not find it at Wal-mart. I bought the Little Remedies brand. I also used an organic brand that I found at our local supermarket. My pediatrician (Lord, I hope I spelled that right...it's late) said it was safe to use as long as it says that there is no alcohol in the contents. The Little Remedies brand is a no alcohol brand.

I'll be praying for the little guy. Have they tried gas drops BEFORE he eats??? That makes a big difference. Colic is a horrible thing to go thru and it sounds like the mommy's situation isn't helping much at all. Again, praying for all of them!

We did it before he ate tonight. Not sure when they were giving it to him before that and also they werent giving him the right dosage either. It was barely half of what it said to give him. And I will sure try to find some of the water.. sounds worth a try.

Thank you so much for the prayers! This little guy is a part of the family! His granny was my kids nanny for 14 yrs off and on! When my late mother in law died she said she wanted her to take care of me (she knew her son was evil and beat me all the time) this lady came to take care of me all the time when me and my ex split up... the day I had my first child she was there and she has been there since. When I went thru post partum she was there for me all the time once she found out! I love her dearly and since I have been so sick off and on the last year she comes regularly and just takes all my younger ones and does for them... when I was in the hospital she came and cleaned my house she drove 300 miles to take care of me after my hysterectomy! She is a Godsend and I am so thankful... the least I can do is help out with her grandbaby if at all possible!

She doesn't sound like a wonderful human being, she sounds like an angel!! It is so wonderful that God puts those kind of people in our lives! And it's also great that you are so willing to return the favor. I don't think you can appreciate the pain and heartache of post partum if you have never been through it. It is the worst possible experience and I prayed...no begged God...not to let me go thru it with the second one. I didn't, and she had colic so bad! I know it was a God thing...in a BIG way!!!
