My kids are up watching the news with me. We have tornado warnings here, but its a little east of us now, and I think more wind than funnel....(according to the weather dudes). We live too far out to hear sirens, so I usually have to watch the news to keep track, or keep refreshing at National Weather Service online....

Ha! Actually, the weather is morbidly fascinating to me. I think if Jeff would let me, I'd be a Storm Chaser. I have the hardest time staying indoors and away from windows--I love to watch the clouds move in!

I saw a really neat Discovery Channel program (awhile ago) where they built a vehicle that could drive right into the center of a tornado and record all kinds of data (with people still in it)! I think that would be AWESOME--as long as I knew for a FACT (or at least 99% certainty) that it would actually withstand the twister, and I'd live to tell the tale.
