we have COGIC folk who come to our church on sunday nights a lot.
sometimes they sneak in a sunday morning. we've converted quite a few of them.
There is one who has famliy that is high up and has all the news. The COGIC is a HOT MESS!!!

AB has been a highly respected "Bishop" in those circles for years due to relationships he has cultivated. There is an entire culture and protocol in those circles that the vast majority of us have absolutely no understanding of.

What an awesome minister he was. Just a good person. While I was in Las Vegas this past weekend for a wedding, my rental car had XM radio and I turned it on the Gospel station. They devoted a lot of their coverage on Sunday to GE Patterson. They had him singing those old songs and he was just getting with it. Nobody like him. He was GENUINE!
