CC1

I have never read where anyone thinks that a person has to have a "full understanding of the Godhead".

God doesn't save FORMER sinners
God saves sinners.
And makes former sinners out of them.

If they could become FORMER sinners without Him then why did He die on the cross?
I didn't say anyone could become a former sinner without him.

How can he save a former sinner if they don't become a former sinner first?

You said he saves FORMER sinners etc.

How can that be unless they become a former sinner first?

You changed the tense.
We are haggling over the present tense "saves." As in, you're saying Jesus presently, for a better lack of word, saves those who are sinners, etcetera.

More specifically, it appears as if those who are sinners are safe. By that logic.

Alright... enlighten me with the correct tense so we can end all haggling...
