I'm probably the only white girl in Memphis that listens to this station!
I LOVE [black] Gospel!
When my Dad was evangelizing, and we were traveling, we always knew you could pick up the best choir music around Memphis or St. Louis.

I don't even know who "Hutchinson" is. But I do like SOME bluegrass. Bluegrass is either REALLY good or awful. There's no in between. So far I only like Alison Krauss and the Clark Brothers.
One time GodsBabyGirl implied that the only type of music I would like would be Michael W. Smith. (because I'm white) LOL!!! I about came unglued. I was raised on black gospel, (plus no small measure of country gospel) and 2 out of 3 of my sisters know how to growl and scream on key.
It's so hard to be a black singer trapped in the body of an alto with a slight southern accent.
Rock, blues, jazz and gospel are very closely related. I don't even know how country got into the mix.

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths
Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945
"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves

No, I was just messing with my man Scott Hutchinson. He loves his Bluegrass and I love his consistency and committment to it
