Awesome!
Let me tell you what happened to me yesterday (Sunday).
We had a $10 off coupon to eat at O'Bradys after church, so Mrs. Steinway and I invited our daughter and her family to join us. It was my treat!
I handed the coupon to the waitress after we ordered and she took the $10 off our bill. I paid with a checkcard, and when the charge receipt returned, they had taken off an additional $10!
My son-in-law thought we should quickly run out of the store before they caught the mistake! hahaha I pondered, but decided that the right thing to do was to let the waitress know that a mistake had been made!
There were no "thank you"s from management, but I figure God would reward honesty.
Well......we visited a store before heading home because we needed a few things for our upcoming vacation to Key West. We saw some very nice luggage on sale, and we remembered that on out last trip our luggage was damaged (torn) by the airline personel during baggage handling.
The luggage was on sale for 60% off. I went to the salesperson and told him that we just saw their luggage display, but were intrigued enough to see if they could do even better. This is an impulse for us, and we weren't sure if we were going to buy or not.
He came back with an additional 40% off the already 60% off!! Come to find out that they were not selling very much luggage lately because of the economy and they would sell it to me at close to cost for cash flow purposes.
I bought 3 pieces and immediately thought of maybe the Lord was rewarding us for our honesty. I would have paid the 60% off price!
FWIW, I went to the internet to compare what I paid for the brand, and no website was even close to the price I paid! Thank you Jesus!
