I love signing/drama. I'm sure OA could work that in to the program, if we have a program. I actually don't know what's going on, other than I just have to drive three miles to get there.
Sherri,
I just got an update on my hotel reservation and they changed it to the $80.00 per night. Thank you.
I sent a PM to OA and he didn't know he was in charge. I LOL'd and said that if you suggest something then you own it...LOL that is the way it works in Apostolic circles LOL
Well, I assumed he was in charge!! He's the one who got this whole thing going. I have no idea what's going on, program wise.
I talked to the gal at Doubletree just a while ago about the room block, because I'm getting ready to sign a contract and I didn't understand some of the stuff. I did ask her about the $99 rate, and she said it was being changed to $80, which is what I was told originally. She let us use the "church rate".
For others interested, to reserve, you should call this number: 1-800-222-TREE and have to make your reservations before 4/2/09 because the room block will be released as of that date. If you make a reservation and then don't call to cancel and don't show up, they will charge your card for the first night. That's in the contract. The rate of $80 is available for the nights of April 24 & 25, but if you are coming in earlier and staying longer, she said you could probably get the same rate.
If there is anyone wanting to go and would like to share expenses, let me know. There's just my daughter and I, and I don't care where we stay as long as it's a decent place. PM me if you are interested.

OK then. That will make it affordable for me. Do you prefer one King or two full size beds?
Kidding of course. I can't go.
