Do you believe that Jesus was the Son of God,
that He died on the cross for your sins,
that He was buried,
and rose again the third day?
To me that is the Gospel the Apostles preached and if you believe it you are Apostolic.
How's that for a narrow interpretation?
P.S. I believe that a person can be Apostolic and not even believe that there are present day Apostles
