He may also want to try the church in Torrance (west Los Angeles Area).
the pastor is steve saize. He married Debbie Foster. I don't know anything else about it except that I know that Debbie and steve are dynamic leaders.

Also, there is a very small church in Van nuys ( north L.A Area) that he may want to look into. There is a very FAMOUS Guitarist that attends there....his name escapes me right off but trust me, you're son will know this musician lol
This is all starting to make me feel better about LA.

Prax,

Escondido is in the San Diego area - way too far from L.A to attend church don't you think??

There is Tom Copple's church in the Anahiem area - it's about 45 min. but during the week the traffic would be impossible.

ALso, Joe Hunt in Long beach??

And Phil White in Burbank

If he is in film school, the Butler's church in Bellflower would be great. Dan Butler is a good well-balanced godly man.

Jeremy Foster lives in LA? Do you mean Lousiana? I don't think he lives in Los Angeles.

USC? Darin Sargent's would be too far from USC. Jeff Morgan is in Costa Mesa/Orange County. He can check on UPCI.org for churches in that area too.

Neuman,

Knowing your views, I would recommend Joe Hunts church in Long Beach. It is a progressive church, Joe is on the ball and cutting edge. Of course check out St. Marks recommendations, like Bell Flower of Darren Sargent's Church.

Is Joe Hunt even still in Long Beach?
