What's interesting is that there is no significant difference in the weather among Nome (Alaska), Buffalo (New York) and Amarillo (Texas).

Here in NW Ohio we are snowed in. We've had the Blizzard of 2007. The news last night said that we have not had a blizzard declared by the National Weather Service for our area since 1978, but this was one. It wasn't anything nearly as bad as '78 tho. But everything is closed - banks, businesses, schools, everything. We really only got about 10" of snow, but the blowing and drifting made things much worse.

We got the blizzard conditions as well.... like you, it isn't how deep it was, 10 inches here too.. but it is the blowing and drifting of snow. Just to the North of us.. and where I go to church got about a foot and half...

I finally came in to work today after a neighbor shoveled me out of my drive.. I got here about 1:45 in the afternoon and there is only three people here.. lol If I had known, I would have stayed home another day. I had a snow day on Tuesday too... I was getting bored though.. had to do something today.

I like snow, but I am ready for Spring.... think I have had enough of the white stuff.

Want to see a few pictures of our dog out in the snow? He went out this morning and sank right up to his belly! It was fun watching him try to figure out how to do his business.

We had a few inches last night, but not near what they were prediciting. Driving to work at 4am was not much fun...

But, it's not snowing now and the sun is shining and I have a headache...maybe it's the change in weather?!
