They hired on another person to help him, but then at the same time put a bunch more work on him (about 25-30 more hours a week)....so she thinks he has all the help he needs, which is just not fair. He works about 11-12 hour days already and is falling further behind daily. He is job hunting but would rather stay where he is. He is talking with Human Resources this week.

Thanks!

I will pray

When we asked about more staffing, well, possibly this Spring. There are budget cuts every where, so I have no idea what they will do.

They cut out overtime completely and that is hitting me hard, it was my "second" job.
That is exactly what they have done where my husband works. They have hired around 10-15 new physicians, PA's and the like and the staff is just absorbing it.

Re: Prayer for Job

Hopefully some good news! My husband has been sounding the bell about this for months....it has just recently reached the critical point. Yesterday as my husband was coming into the building he ran into the CEO who asked my husband if he had gotten his email. My husband apologized and said no but that he would look at it and respond (my husband has about 900 unread emails right now). The CEO wants him to start scheduling for another flu clinic. My husband said he would love to but he doesn't have time....and told him what is going on. The CEO said he was going to have a meeting with a few peope and see if he can get this resolved. My husband said it will either get resolved or they will fire him(......but he doesn't think they will fire him). Regardless, he says he needs a resolution. Everybody is yelling at him from all sides and, like I said, they have him scheduled in a project right now 40 hours a week and no time to do his day job. Thanks for the prayers. Maybe we will see a breakthrough!!

I mentioned a while back about hurting my back and filing workman's comp at my library job because we are just absorbing the load of 20% increased circulation since the recession. There are some changes being made! I am hopeful that, even though it won't all be fixed, it is understood that we are overworked and can't hurt ourselves to make things work!

Re: Prayer for Job

Wow! Things have changed quickly! My husband ran into the CEO like I mentioned and the CEO got right on it and talked to my husband's boss. They are looking at hiring two temporaries (one who might end up permanant)! My husband slept better last night than he has in a looonnnnggg time! Thanks for the prayers. My husband had his chance meeting in the parking lot the same day you all prayed. This is a great relief.
