Well, I just realized that the game has been going for a while and I was busy watching Tim Lincecum shut down the Astros. WAY more interesting!!
The "One and done" culture of college basketball has left me completely disinterested.

I think that's what makes it exciting

....except that there's now no continuity in major college basketball. I can still name all five starters of "Phi Slamma Jamma." "The Fab 5". The Missouri Tigers of the Steve Stipanivich late 70's team. Jordan's Tar Heels, Johnson's Spartens, Bird's Sycamores.
But now? I can't name one single NCAA player. The quality of play has bottomed out and it mostly looks like organized chaos. But the Butler thing is exciting. Maybe I should watch the last few minutes....if it's still on.

Butler down by 1 with about 13 sec left in possession. What an exciting game

Re: Tonight's NCAA Championship
Gratz to Duke. Kudos to the small school, Butler held their own and even on the last shot of the game almost one it on a half court shot.
I bet we see more of Butler next year
