Ferd, if it makes you feel any better... I have never sent one either. Only tried a couple of times. My dad does it for me from his fax machine if I need something sent by fax. LOL
As for those self checkout things, I still go through the regular lines. I pay enough for the items, they can bag them for me. I also still prefer to shop at places where they actually carry your bags to the car for you too.
The self checkout's are easy if you don't have produce.

Seriously, the thing sees me coming. It's always telling me to place the product in the bagging area (after I've already done it), telling me I've put something in the bagging area without scanning (did not!). I HATE it! My kids beg me not to go through those, it embarrasses them too badly.
