Which Ballestero are you? I went to IBC with Courtney Phebus-Ballestero. Wonderful girl.

Your posts have a nasty ring to them friend

If your waiving the flag for conservatives... I don't think your doing a good job of it by attacking other AFF members or putting up creepy threads like this one.

No one has attacked your dad from what I have ever seen... and I don't see why you are trying to light yourself on fire and then say we burned you somehow.

I think we should cut him a very long length of slack at this time.

yisroelm did make a needlessly unkind remark directed at those who were merely offering their condolences. His post was rather mocking in tone and quite out of character given the sincerity of the condolences that were being offered. But, such is the nature of sorrow. It's heavy now, but this too shall pass and the happiness will return without the present burden weighing on the heart.

yisroelm - I don't think that now is the best time for you to engage your usual polemic opponents. You're hurting and grieving and we all feel for you despite any of our differences. Take some time off. You deserve it. Be blessed, Bro.

I just realized you wouldn't fellowship with the Apostle Peter. You DO keep tight company if even he couldnt make the cut.

John 21:7

That disciple whom Jesus loved therefore said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea. (ESV)

-------------

That disciple whom Jesus kept loving said to Peter, "It's the Lord!" When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put his clothes back on, because he was practically naked, and jumped into the sea. (ISV)

-------

And of course we could always go to multiple examples from the O.T. .. but whats the point.. its not about bible... its about your personal convictions, and why they make you better than another Christian.

Re: Since you love to mock Holiness People.

I haven't seen anybody on this forum "mocking" "Holiness people."

Why is it that "holiness people" get so angry when somebody doesn't agree with their standards? I've seen some "Christians" get very un-Christian like very quickly...all because of "sister so-and-so" not meeting their expectations of what holy is supposed to look like...as if that person dressed in such a way to personally attack them.

It seems Pharisetical to me: "Lord I thank thee that I'm not a sinner like these people."

With all due respect, though, I am sorry for your loss...

Some holiness men DO go shirtless in a speedo.

Holiness does not depend on what they may or may not have on externally but on having the Holy Spirit within.

The Apostle Peter stated that a person's real adorning is not styling hair, putting on jewelry and wearing clothing but the spirit within 1 Peter 3:3-5

Ephesians 4:24 speaks of "true holiness"

1 Corinthians 1:30 says that Jesus is my sanctification/holiness
What greater holiness could I ever want?
