Its sad how the conversation ended. With a putdown... typical of the con approach... even when I use the Pentecostal Herald and UGST papers to back my point. I am told I have a submission problem and she hoped I didnt feel like my time at IBC was a waste.

That's why there is no point in debating anything... better to hang out in the fellowship hall and drink coffee. Their belief trumps any facts, and it is hard to have a debate when facts aren't allowed.

LOL! Yeah, but I know what would happen if I put something in my status update like that...
I'd have 1/3 of my friends list wondering why another 1/3 of my friends list was suddenly foaming at the mouth about the definition of a greek word.... and the other 1/3 fighting with the others.
I'm to the point I don't post anything controversial and usually just complain about random, innocuous things.

The pastors from www.lifechurch.tv which is the 5th largest church are most likely totally confused by it
I have gotten to be friends with their satellite church down in Palm Beach county/Wellington .. they run about 600. Heck, when I visited one week while in the area they started a church service about life after death with Blue Oyster Cults "Don't Fear the Reaper" ... compared to that I am a lightweight.

We sat in the same service most likely.
I was there that day for both services, they were teaching me how they setup and broke down as a portable church.
Awesome worship experience, eh?

Me and my family really enjoy it. i also liked like their low key approach to communion & showing the baptisms during offering.
