God could have texted me? Hmm... we should suggest that to Him. Of course, when I was 9 cell phones were something reserved for millionaires and they were about the size of a rotary phone. lol

Oh man, don't get me started on the countdown altar calls. People throw around the term "False Prophet" all the time, but any idiot that would do that is NOT of God in anyway at all!!! It causes mental and emotional scarring that can last a life time and distort one's view of God so terribly, they run from Him forever. Absolutely inexcusable.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Right after my husband and I got married, he had an accident at work and he couldn't hardly walk because of his back. He decided to go ahead and go to a revival service. During the altar call he stayed in his seat because his back hurt so bad. The evangelist anounced from the pulput that he was going to hell because he was rebelling toward God.

Major shucks. We had a grumpy trucker that went out to his truck to get another half dozen pills for his back.(during invitation) He came back in and went forward and got baptized in Jesus name. He came out of the water pain free. I started a home bible study 2 weeks later and he was still grinnin' with his testimony.
