On the 14th at The Jackson Intermediate School In Jackson ,AL. ,my girl will be in the awards ceremony for having the highest grade point average in her 5th grade class.
I'm very proud of that girl.
She gets her brains from her mom.
Good for her! No wonder you're proud of her. And it's important that she gets proper recognition for her good work from her parents.

We went to honors night last night at my son's college. He was recognized as having the highest GPA in the business school, and graduated today!
