We are adopting through a pet agency called the Pup Squad Animal Rescue, Cindy ...

if we don't keep him, he returns to a foster home until a new home is found.
Cass is thinking of volunteering at their center on some Saturdays.

Sometimes that's kinda like taking on a adoptive child too that came from a bad home. They needs lots of love and patience as well as some insight into how to retrain behavior.

There is some truth to that, Praxeas... he was found on the street almost entirely soiled in soot in the middle of December, on a busy thoroughfare.

He's got a sweet demeanor .... definitely a lap dog .... and loves to sleep underneath the blankets like Princess.
I can see a stubborn streak in him (he is a Jack Russell) but actually obeys commands better than the diva ...
Jack Russells are athletic and energetic dogs ... and I think this guy is going to whip me back in shape in 2011.

He looks very small to be fully Jack Russell........definitely looks like he has some chihuahua in him!
