I am not sure, some are just cynical and suspicious and over exposed to make believe (TV and movies). We probably couldn't tell the difference. And others are open to all kinds of things. I am sure most people want to believe it's just a natural occurrence, and of course ridicule others. Especially religious people. Typical human nature.

On the Holy Ghost fire, I attended a church that one of the neighbors called the fire department because they did see flames coming from the roof.
This was a neighbor who had no reason to do this other than they really believed the church was on fire.
This did occur during what some would call a "red-hot" church service, with repenting, baptizing and Holy Ghost baptizing going on.
This is not a second-hand story, as I was there and standing in the back when the FD came in.
Also, have any of you been in a service where there was a blue, smoky haze present.
I have been in two services where this happened and I have no explanation for it, other than the presence of God.
And no it was not a ballest burning out!!!
Thoughts?

I've seen a blue haze at church before.

I've been in a "red hot" service before where the fire dept showed up before as well. It also got attributed to the moving of the Spirit and sparked off a "Round 2"
Regarding the neighbor, not sure what to tell you. Was he a backslider? Former believer? What exactly did he see?
Smoky haze? Yeah, I've seen that after I've bawled my eyes out for 10 hours and everything looked hazy I've also seen it with theatrical lighting and fog machines.

I just think there's a tendency to be hysterical with these things.
Especially when there are other explanations.

I would assume those present at this meeting felt like they had "confirmation" from the Spirit with all this news hysteria.

Where is this church?
Date and time of the incident?
Name of agencies that showed up?
What were the findings of the responding agencies?
I want for this to be a true example of a miraculous manifestation of the Holy Spirit of God-- so I want to verify it.

I've experienced things like this before. One time a brother and I were praying at the church till about mid night.
Inside the church the building was filled with a "mist". It covered the ceiling. Needless to say the prayer meeting was pretty good.
Afterwards we went outside and were talking and I glanced up and saw a rectangular shaped cloud above us. I asked the brother if he saw it and he asked me where? So I looked down at him and when I did he exclaimed "Oh I see it now"..when I looked back up the "cloud" was now further up and moving away in that direction till it was gone.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Will you please provide information that can verify this account to be true?
Location of incident?

Responding agencies?
What were their findings?
