I posted a month or two ago about law enforcement becomming to powerful and the Patriot Act being too intrusive.
The Patriot Act may not be directly related to this incident-- maybe it is, I'm not even sure any more.
It's the atmosphere we live in nowadays-- keep the general population on fearful edge, make laws more intrusive, and law enforcement officers more powerful.
After a while, incidents like this will not be so shocking to us.
We will become numb.
The noose of "law enforcement" will tighten.
