Re: Will You Pray for a Stranger?

Please keep praying with us.

The lung biopsy shows non-small cell lung cancer, which is the slower growing kind... so this is somewhat of a relief, although we do not yet know what Stage cancer it is in.

Joe goes Monday (3/28/11) for a brain biopsy. If the brain legion is operable, they will remove it on the spot. If not, it will just be biopsied for treatment purposes.

In either event, chemo/radiation is in Joe's immediate future.

We can really use your prayers now. I only share this story because I know AFFers know the healing power of God and can help keep it positive.
This is what we do best! Amen?

Thanks,
fiyah

Re: Will You Pray for a Stranger?

Just keeping you posted, I know some of you are praying with us!

Joe went for his brain procedure yesterday, and the doctor had said he "doubted it would be operable" .... But it was! The doctor was able to "completely remove" the brain tumor (doctor's words). Joe was in surgery for less than 5 hours and in ICU for less than 24 hours. He is now recovering nicely in intermediate care.

PRAISES in the house! This is a monumental victory!

Step by step.

Chemo/radiation is in the picture next.

Thanks for your help praying!

Re: Will You Pray for a Stranger?

Two rounds of chemo under the belt! No sickness, no vomiting. Appetite is good. Just VERY tired.

Please continue to remember Joe in your prayers. We are thankful!

Praying for Joe, for strength, for courage, and that the Lord would see fit to bring Joe through this journey, completely restored and healed by the power of The Living GOD, in Jesus Name!
