Re: Kindle Bibles VS.Hard Copy Bibles.

I feel a bit overwhelmed by it all.

Someday, it think I will crash and reboot. You will find me riding a colt in the town square...

Re: Kindle Bibles VS.Hard Copy Bibles.

I LOVE my Kindle, but I don't like using the Bible on it, and not because I'm opposed to using an electronic device to read scripture. It's too hard and takes too long to get to a particular passage. When I'm trying to look up a passage in church, the pastor is already reading and/or it's already up on the screen by the time I get there.

I'd rather have my real Bible in my hand or use the app on my phone.

I do; or an iPad or other Tablet style. You can simply carry more books and more helps along with you.

Downloaded the KJV on my Nookcolor. My husband took it to church a couple weeks ago and said the same thing. Takes too long to keep up in a service.

Joel Osteen will have to change his opening statement with all of the ipads & Kindles, as they hold up their Ipad instead of their Bible.

"This is my Ipad. I am who it says I am, I can do what it says I can do. .......... "

Re: Kindle Bibles VS.Hard Copy Bibles.

I use YouVersion on my Droid X phone. I do all of my devotional reading on it, mainly because I like reading the NKJV.

Here's another question, when the Bible is read in church, do you think it is appropriate for the congregation to read along on their electronic device (instead of a physical Bible)?
