I have a feeling it will be changed to Gateway Colllege or Gateway University. The word evangelism will most likely be dropped.

Since UGST offers degrees above Bachelors I think it would have to be University.

I wonder if the school will have to be more tolerant of holiness deviations in order to qualify for federal funds?

I asked that question too a few days ago - not because of funding but I hope they do to be inclusive to other OP denominations and even beyond.

I hope not. They should be more tolerant because of common sense and Christian Principles but if the Federal government can dictate what a denominations schools teaches that will be sad.
As far as I know the Fed Government can only dictate a lot of things if the school receives Federal Funding and I don't think that will be the case here.

MIT doesn't use university in it's name.

But they also don't use "college". I may be wrong as I have been before but I believe "college" is used for four year institutions that issue Bachelor degrees and you can only call yourself a University if you issue Masters / Doctorates.

College can include Master's degrees - don't know about doctorates. I can think of a couple of legitimate colleges off the top of my head that have several Master's Programs. Mississippi College is one of them.
