Well, the Select Comfort is not going to sag. They're more than $800 though.

I think you'd get the same affect with the one I posted and I bet it's a lot cheaper.

Re: Mattresses

I had a mattress cover and a pillow. Felt good but too hot. I could have the roome cool and still sweat a lot under my body.

Re: Mattresses

We keep the bedroom meat locker cold so that helps with my memory foam mattress topper. Our King size bed is a Sterns & Foster that is about 10 years old. At about 8 years what had been an amazing bed began to show its age and that is when we got the memory foam mattress topper.

We will probably replace it with a sleep number bed in the next year or two if the budget allows it. The problem is that we both have back problems so we require a very good bed which means $$$$$$. My wife slept in a relatives sleep number bed that is a king but the top part is split so each person can adjust their bed like a hospital one for reading, watching tv....er monitor, etc. That setup is around $5000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Mattresses

Wow...my wife and I have been talking for what seems like forever about getting a new bed. We paid like $800 for ours and in less then a year it started sagging in the middle. ARRRGG!!!

The other issue is that I am a power lifter and have a large wide back and shoulders so getting comfortable is difficult. We have talked about the sleep number and up until recently everyone I talked to loved it...however, here lately I have had several folks tell me they hated it. It is to much money to spend to find out it doesn't work!

Decisions decisions...

Re: Mattresses

Before you buy a Select Comfort check out Comfortaire. Same or better quality without paying for all the celebrity advertising. We've had ours for many years now and I love it. My wife wishes we could go back to the waveless waterbed but that's another story. While Comfortaire does have individual air chambers and their own version of "sleep number," it does not have the foam pad between the two air chambers so you don't have that annoying lump in the middle of the bed. At the time we bought, they had a custom size waterbed mattress replacement so that saved us from having to buy a whole new bed
