Re: IBC Declined To Sing With Madonna/Super Bowl
"How Sweet the Sound" - Good Publicity.
"Back up singers for Madonna" - Very Bad Publicity.
Next thing you know, all the ladies in the choir would be making out with each other!

I think that the stance taken doesn't make them a "UCon"... it makes there an "ApparentlyThereIsAtLeastSomeSymblanceOfConInThere "

Re: IBC Declined To Sing With Madonna/Super Bowl
Personally... I love this. Their taking a stand for not allowing Jesus to be exploited, and thereby degraded, in a venue of entertainment is the greatest witness they could ever give. They showed that their love for Christ and their collective convictions are greater than all the glamour and publicity the world could ever give them.
Now... if it were a Christmas program and they were asked to sing for Christ's glory on national television, I'd whole heartedly support them. But this was one of the enemy's traps. I believe they deserve much honor and distinction for standing up and declining involvement for the sake of Christ's glory.
Kudos to them! God BLESS you IBC for being a light in a darkened world.

Kudos to IBC. Without knowing what the song is, makes you wonder why they would want IBC to participate in a song that makes fun of christianity ?

Ask Jim Bakker, Jimmy Swaggert and Herman Cain about bad publicity...
When you're worth $7 billion, good publicity, bad publicity, eh...who cares? When you're a Christian Bible School, unless she's singing a gospel song, I doubt any good can come from it. What would be the benefit? And I doubt the producers would want the "look" on the stage either. No way it was going to happen...
