Re: Dating Guidelines
When a unbeliever and believer marry, there is a soul tie formed as the two become one flesh. If the unbeliever has certain spirits and generation curses, these sort of things can creature real havoc in the life of the believer.

Looking at it another way, shouldn't the believers spirit wreak havoc with the unbelievers?
I know that two people should be as similar as possible in their beliefs -something that eharmony does remarkably well! This is why my wife and I get along so well.

Re: Dating Guidelines
I do not know if the church could actually enforce that, but I do believe that they could recommend it. I would suppose it would depend on the pastor and his relationship with his saints. I do know that I have heard it said that young people have no business being out by themselves after a certain time of night, but that gets into chaperoning, which the church should have a policy on.
Off to work now, I will read the replies in the morning.

Yes The Spirit Of God can cause the enemy to rage. But Christians can be oppressed and vexed by spirits .But being citizens of two different Kingdoms would not make for a good marriage I would think.

You wouldn't have to do all that Randy. All you have to do is to get you a Trunk Monkey.

As I am not a believer in generational curses, I disagree with that point. However, I do agree with your overall point. I have watched more people than I care to consider marry outside of the church, and I only know of two examples that ended with anything near happiness.

I would have done that, however I left myself no time to do anything like that. I got to work with only about no time to spare.

I love the trunk monkey videos and was thinking about this one the other night. I did not watch it again as I did not have internet. It is just way too funny.

Re: Dating Guidelines
If I had a daughter, I would be cleaning a shot gun when the date came over to pick her up.
My immortal words would be, "if anything happens to my little girl I would be very upset."
I would buy prison bars and put them up on her windows of her room.
barbed wire would suround the yard with land mines underneath her bedroom window.
man eating Tigers would patrol the yard that eat only boyfriends.
computerized flamethrowers would also be in the yard.
God has approved this message.

I have to say that I like that. The only difference would be that I would have added a moat with no bridge around it filled with piranha for them to swim through if they wanted to actually meet her.
