The doctor gave her some medicine to counter act the drug induced psychosis.
She seems to be returning to her senses.
She still doesn't sound completely normal, but she now speaks coherently. She might be released soon. by law the authorities can only hold her for 72 hours unless the evaluating doctor determines her unfit to leave.
We always respected her privacy, because she was a young adult and we believe we had taught her right from wrong.
But we now found out that she was leading a double life. she pretended to be one thing but was living a different life.
There were subtil signs that should have alerted me, but I was blind.
Unfortunately the doctor has told us that we can not receive her conservatorship, because this is a one time occurrance and no judge would grant it to us.
She is an adult and the law allows her the freedom to make her own choices.
The way I see it, she has to make a choice, she can return home on the basis of new rules or she can pack and leave our home.
We are trusting in Jesus, for he is my rock and my God.
He sustained our family throughout this whole episode.

Brother FZ, I have deep empathy for you and your family. Our children have the ability to cut deep into our emotions by what they say and do to us or to themselves for that matter.
Praying that this will be resolved by the Lord. God still works miracles.

Thank you all of you which are praying for my daughter.
We might be separated by location, but in Heaven we will meet and I will be able to thank you in person.
I had no idea how much it hurt to have a child become mentally disabled by drugs.
I wish a million times, I could have been more perceptive of what was happening, but it seems that I ignored so many signs that pointed in that direction.
The healing will probably take a long time, I have no idea if she will ever be the same person again, all I can do is to pray to Jesus the great healer.
I will continue to pray for your daughter.

Titus2woman on AFF
"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
Quote from Ethel Goss (widow of 1st UPC Gen Supt. Howard Goss) book "The Winds of God"
I came across this book at the library, and read it. I was amazed at the insight offered in the book with regards to mental illness and demon possession. I will share the link to this book, Tormented: Eight Years and Back. It changed my perspective dramatically, and I would recommend this book highly to everyone.
