As for AG Holder, I think that after AG Gonzalez was forced to resign under the last Adminstration, this Adminstration's AG was going to be a lighning rod for criticism, regardless. I'd like to see a link though so that we can both be on the same page.

In general, I have nothing positive to say about the Black Panther Party or any of the venom they spew.
Now i do want to keep this seperate from the zimmerman case (even tho its related) i am concerned about the act itself expecially in the view of the public Eye.

There is what is called the dominio effect, if one is allowed to do something then others will follow in the same way.

for instance, 2 men at work get into a fight. one hits the other. The man who hit the other man is suspended for 2 days, doesnt lose his Job.

Now 1 week later the owner of the company walks through. One man who is angry over his pay he now understands sees that hitting some one is only a 2 day suspension. In his eyes its worth hitting the owner over his pay. He hits the owner and he is fired.

The man turns around and uses the legal system to sue the company for unfair practices.

so what i am concerned about is the act, which it could have been done by the kKk or any other group. so i dont want to sound like its a racist thing I want to focus on the act and why this current administration allowed it to go on, even with so much media coverage on it.

If you are of the mindset that Chrsitians should not be concerned with government and politics, then we will not agree. However, "Concerned" is not to be confused with consumed.
Hmm, "Who would Jesus vote for," hmm...
And of course, I have some minor concern about
an enemy I am called to overcome, amen to that.

Yes, I will take the position that a Christian
should not be concerned, in the least,
about Gov/Pol; these are strictly a way to divide us,
and serve absolutely no purpose--
they actually anti-serve; as 1 Sam 8 will tell you. Vote away.

Re: My Politics

Really, the title of this thread should tell one all they need to know.
("This is how we, Christians, are divided")

the bible says you are to pray for our leaders. also even though saul went bad God allowed democracy in electing the first King of Israel. He also set up judges to govern the people. in essence that is what voting is. we are electing a person to govern us.

At the same token we can also say that God is control of the situation, as he was in control of babylon.

Re: My Politics

JD - how do you feel about the AME church support of the AG?
I kept waiting for someone to post it.

...In the context of 1 Sam 8, this becomes equal to God allowing multiple wives, etc--"allowed" because people are going to do it anyway. I'm pretty sure God has no problem with a couple-thousand year detour to illuminate the error of our ways, lol. "...in that day, I will not even hear your prayers for relief." I believe that day is fast approaching.

Hmm, and here I thought I was going right to the heart of it, re, "the title of this thread..."
I'm sorry, but just exactly like promoting wholesome behavior
becomes "promoting unwholesome behavior" when some
cow farmer takes exception to the truth, I find my post here
more to the point, if antagonistic. These are "My politics,"
how do you like them?
