I am guessing this guy was either high on drugs or a repeat offender who knew he was going to jail for long time this time and was not going back. Maybe both.
He looked like a typical thug with sagging pants, etc. I wish he had come to the Lord and changed his life but in lieu of that this looks like a case of natural selection. I see a lot of news stories about stupid people either killing themselves or doing something so stupid death is pretty much a guaranteed results. In those instances while I feel sorry for their families I absolutely believe natural selection is at work. Some people are too stupid to live.
Perfect example is a few years ago when some movie released had a scene with teenagers playing a game where they would lie down in the middle of the highway and let semi trucks run over them. Of course the idea is that you are between the wheels of the truck and trucks have such a high clearance you would not die. Any idiot would know that in reality there is a good chance a truck might swerve to miss an object in the road and end up hitting it. Some moron teenagers actually played this game and died. Natural selection. Too stupid to live.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I'm pretty sure even "live" news
uses a short delay? No accident, imo.
Fox News uses a 5 second delay, but I think the fact that it wasn't all *that* graphic (meaning, you didn't see blood or anything), maybe they didn't realize until he had actually slumped over what had happened. The reporter (Smith?) figured out what was happening and kept telling the camera guys to cut away and you could tell he was really annoyed when they kept the cameras running. I'm thinking there was some yelling going on in that newsroom later....

There was a delay and the person doing the news ordered that it be turned off (I think) after he realized what had been shown. He was very apologetic about having it shown.

I don't watch Fox News enough to get this! Sorry! I didn't figure it out until Fritz posted about Bill O'Reilly and I googled it.
