Re: Brooklyn Tab to Sing "Battle Hymn" at Inaugura
"Christ was born across the sea, As he died to make men Holy..."
It did not sound too minced to me.

Re: Brooklyn Tab to Sing "Battle Hymn" at Inaugura
Most of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir probably voted for Obama. No surprise to see them singing for him.

Rev. Al Green declined.

Heard it on ABC radio days before the inauguration. Just reported it here. Take it up with them.

You always have a excuse. Post a lie then blame someone else. I hear thousands of lies at fox but don't post them. Yes I watch fox. (as long as I can hold my breath.) It doesn't take long for the lies to mount up.

Re: Brooklyn Tab to Sing "Battle Hymn" at Inaugura
It is possible the report was wrong. It is also possible that enough grief was stirred because of the report that they walked it back.
You seem to have trouble understanding the differences between a premeditated lie and someone be wrong. I was shocked to hear that verse sung the other day, but was glad it was. I was glad that what I heard was wrong.
For the record if it makes you feel better I will say it: the information I received and reported here the other day about the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir being told that they couldn't sing the verse that mentions Christ at the inauguration proved to be wrong. I recant the report.
Have you tried filtering through the lies of this administration? I can find you a long list of them of you'd like.
