Re: Washing Machines

Also, the new top loaders are very deep and most do not have an agitator, not sure how they will come clean?

Don't like the concern of mold in a front loader either.

Decisions. Must buy something tomorrow.

It is pretty cool to listen to the computer control unit working though. It tells how big the load is by weight then spins a little, squirts water a little, spins some more, squirts some more, rests, spins, squirts, squirts, spins. You get the picture!

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

We bought an LG washer and dryer combo from Best buy for about a grand (four years ago). They were really well rated by Consumer Reports.

Re: Washing Machines

There is a new feature that has steam in some of the front loaders. Seems like a really nice feature.

Our top loader has no agitator, cleans great and doesn't use much water at all. Very energy efficient.

The LG with the size I am trying to stay with comparable to my top
Loader with a pedestal is a little over 1,000.00.

Machine is like 800.00+. Then the pedestal is around 250.00 then taxes some places delivery charge and wow over a 1,000 for just a washer.

If you want color add another 100+

I went looking to get a top loader, but tubs are way to deep.
