If some idiot walked into our church, pulled out a pair of scissors and started assaulting (and it would be assault) my wife and daughters, and the other ladies in the church...it would be the right thing to do....anyone who would do that has to be insane or real evil and there is no telling whether he would start slashing other body parts next.....I would blow his stinkin' head off, they would carry him out feet first, and we would have to replace the carpet. The hair is the natural covering or veil given by God, not a baseball cap. In other words: If you have a Pentecostal UpDo when you are praying, your hair is broidered. The problem in Corinth was that women were wearing their hair up and their heads were thus uncovered. This is what Paul was saying to be ashamed.
