Re: Breaking News: North Korean Air Force Assembli

The U.S. should be careful about putting li'l Kim in a corner where he feels he has to strike in order to save face. The B-2 stealth bomber flight from MO to S Korea was stupid, as is sending a ton of navy ships to build up forces in the area. I'm not saying we shouldn't prepare or warn N Korea. I am saying we need to be careful how it's done and not cause li'l Kim to act out because he feels he has to in order to look good.

Re: Breaking News: North Korean Air Force Assembli

The N. Koreran leader is mentally disturbed like his father. He watched his dad saber rattle and get what he wanted from the world - now it is his turn. He now has to prove to the North that he is just as strong or stronger than his mentally challenged father.

The North has continuously heightened tensions from firing on S. Korean ships or using artillery against S. Korean villages. Also, they find tunnels running under the DMZ where infiltrators enter S. Korea to seek and destroy military targets in the south.

It is high time S. Korea, the younger generation, realize the North wants to unite the two countries under the rule of one fanatic dictator.

As to whether or not the south can handle the north the answer is yes. It will not be like the last time where they barely held the Pusan perimeter. I would stand side by side with any ROK Marine. They are some of the toughest in the world. They understand the danger and they train for it. BTW did I say they are some of the toughest in the world! I for one am glad they are on our side. You do not want to get in their way. They mean business! BTW did I mention they are some of the toughest in the world? LOL!

Seriously the only way the North could win is if China intervened then they might have a chance. If they launched a nuclear strike at the south there would be a swift and decisive strike at the north. They would be destroyed whether by an overwhelming conventional force or something else.

Case in point concerning the ROK Marines: The battle of Tra Binh Dong
On Feb 14 1967 a N. Vietnamese Regiment (1,500 men) attacked a company (254 men) of S. Korean Marines (ROKMC) . There was brutal hand to hand combat that took place during the fight. After it was over the N. Vietnamese lost 253 dead and an unknown number of wounded. The S. Korean Marines lost 15 dead and 30 wounded.

North Korea is so last month. New threat - Syria!

Whatever happened to that buildup near N. Korea? Millions of dollars wasted flying a B2 and B52 bomber over there from Missouri, just to prove we still could. And for what?

Li'l Kim has been quiet, or unreported, for weeks now. No missile launches, no invasion of S. Korea. Nothing.

Kind of reinforces the belief that N. Korea is a paper tiger; that the bellicose rhetoric from Li'l Kim is just him trying to prop up his image in his own country.

I have absolutely no problem with a show of force like the flights from Missouri. These planes and pilots have to fly for training so it is not like they wouldn't be burning fuel anyway.

Same way I felt a few years ago when Sean Hannity was whining about Air Force One flying over NYC for a photo shoot. Those pilots and equipment have to fly for training anyway so I had no problem with that photo shoot.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
