So many things wrong with this whole business...

Now if you are concerned about your neighborhood and actually willing to give of your time and energy to be a help then if you ever really get in a jam because of it people will just assume you are some kind of yahoo based on the fact that you actually were willing to help? How really, really stupid is that?

If a person of color commits a crime against you requiring you to defend yourself, and if they get the worse end of the deal, and you are a lighter shade than them, well...then it will be assumed that you were involved because they were a darker person... How really, really stupid is THAT?

And if the law can plainly see that you did noting wrong you will still get dragged through a public trial... and even after your life is ruined... when you are finally acquitted... There will still be people to say that you are a murderer... how really, really... oh never mind.
