I believe a company should be able to mandate whatever it wants as a basis for employment as long as it isn't something that is or should be protected against like color of skin or religious beliefs.

If you don't want I do what an employer requires then find another job.

Of course I also believe that if an employer requires you to do something that hurts or kills you that they should be held liable.

Btw the flu shot isn't mandatory. It may be mandantory for your current job but it isn't for every job.

I got the flu shot one yer and the flu really bad one year but I can't remember if it was the same year. My husband had a bad reaction from the flu shot though and so has my Dad.

Many people are being fired over refusing to take it all over the US ever since medicaid reimbursements are tied to 90% compliancy levels in clinics and hospitals. Follow the money. Nobody cared about the flu shot being mandated before that. All of a sudden you are a terrible person who wants to spread the flu if you don't put your arm out.
