In HS, the field hockey teams (which were always all female) wore kilt-like uniforms.

The parameters for what is considered apostolic adornment are quickly expanding among liberal and less quickly among moderate groups. The name would deceiving for those are in the conservative end of the apostolic spectrum. I would consider myself and my wife to be moderate, we dress what would be considered fairly conservative but take no issue with those who dress less traditionally. Can't say I felt deceived by the name but I am surprised at the number of disgruntled ex-aps that frequent this forum. Figured they had better things to do.

Thanks for all of the posts everyone!

I ended up going to a thrift store and getting some black calf length leggings and a black skirt that goes below the knee but has short slits on the sides that go just above the knee so there is plenty of room to move around.

We just got the news that we are playing softball in both the summer league (5 weeks) and fall (10 weeks!) Very exciting and lots of exercise out there!

I'm going to go there and get a swim suit! We are getting a membership to the community center and they have a fun kids play area that my boys love but they are too young (6 and 1) to go in there by themselves so these would work great!
