most of you have known me a long time, for the past 5 years I have been on anti-depressants and other PTSD medication (as I am a veteran). The last 2 days I have quit my psych meds and have had withdrawals from them but God has been faithful. This thread brought me to tears as God is allowing me to see my faith in action. Thank you Phil for the message as it was timely and thank you Kept by the Word for the song as Jesus touched me when I heard it. God bless the both of you!!!!

I will be praying for you Bro. Eastman. This is a difficult thing to do. I do hope that you are coming off your meds wisely, and not just cold turkey, and hopefully under the direction of a medical professional. It certainly can be done, but carefully.

The Lord Jesus indeed is our comforter as no one else can be in the very darkest nights of our soul. May the Lord bless you in your efforts to remove yourself from the meds, and I will be praying that he heals your heart and mind from the difficult things of the past.
