He thought he could do what he had always done because he knew how to do it.

the good thing is though, if you study history,
there is always a backsliding of the church before a move of the spirit.

I think people confuse anointing with glory. Sometimes there is anointing in the house, because God has gifted people to lead worship or preach or whatever. But it's still just God's hand on that person, which is different than His presence filling the house. I love those services where the presence of God is so heavy and thick that you almost feel like you can't breathe or move. That's the glory! And I want it!!!

I believe often the anointing is manifested simply because the Word is anointed, and as you said, people confuse anointed Word with glory.

How have we gotten to the place that we cannot readily tell the difference?!

Vicki winans Re-recorded it on one of her recent CDs too but thomas sung it with such passion.
