Small Business Confidence At 8 Year High!

i'm curious how the confidence index can be so high, yet small biz starts are at all time lows, something like 3.8% of the pop own small biz's now, compared to over 10% in the 90s.

I am super confused about a couple of things. One, we are talking small business. Why are we talking oil companies? Gas and oil are down. I dont see the correlation between small business confidence and big business oil. Someone educate me. Seriously. Two, its the same ol thing with you people. Dow down, confidence down. Obama sucks. Dow up, confidence up. Obama has nothing to do with it. What are the rules of this game conservative hypocrites?

The fact is, no politician (not even the president) can do much to positively affect the economy, however they can do much to harm it; specifically by raising taxes or increasing regulations. Ergo, there's no hypocrisy here. Obama's actions (e.g. the $2+ trillion "stimulus" for one) have led to a massive removal of funds from the private sector, which will certainly affect the stock market. This is quite obviously going to have a major negative impact on the economy. I dare you to tell me one thing he's done that could possibly have the inverse effect.

The only rule they have is to make sure Obama looks bad in their own view.
