Must be what others felt when you came attacking faith in the bible again. Reap what you sow.

If Timmy's rather anemic attacks on "a person's faith" offend you, that is unfortunate. He is much less damaging than any number of the things of this world. I believe it has been awhile since you posted here Timmy.
Let me ask you a question. Why are you still on a vengeance against God and the bible since your prayer did not come to pass?
Don't want to answer my question? Don't blame you.
Now, I have no reason for vengeance against God. None whatsoever. Why not? Because God never promised me anything. Not once. He never spoke to me at all. And He never wrote me a letter, or a book. Never gave me a message through someone else. Never.

Hello again.
Thanks! Yes, it's been quite a while.
But questions are attacks, to some. They aren't very secure in their faith, I guess.

I assume it is a judgement on their part upon the person asking the question based on information obtained previously.
I think, I should have put attacks in quotations perhaps as well.
While I obviously am not an atheist, I don't feel the need to "defend" God. An attack on God is so absurd as to be laughable. I Don't see where God needs or wants me to defend him.
Although, the difficulty in answering your poll question would be that Jesus had a father in that mary was his mother (she birthed him) and God created him. Jesus is God in flesh so in that respect Jesus had/has God as his father.
God (the spirit) has no father because he was not created. He was and always has been and will always be.
I probably did not explain that adequately, but I tried.
"Many Christians do not try to understand what was written in a verse in the Bible. Instead they approach the passage to prove what they already believe."
Why does the question even concern you, if there is no God?
He actually believes there is a God. But since the God of the bible did not answer a prayer like he thought He should, it's vendetta time against the Bible.
There is a common denominator behind all these threads. Make people question the bible toward a direction of doubt and disbelief in it. It's goo d to question to learn more. But always a question to cast doubt.
"Here I am at the forum again, folks. And I am once again asking you a question engineered to make you stop believing the bible like I did. Feel the love behind my subversion?"
